Obituary for Arlene A. Weaver (Bair)
Arlene A. Weaver, 91, formerly of Mohrsville, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Maidencreek Place. She was the wife of Carl L. Weaver, who died January 31, 2001.
Born in Centre Twp., she was the daughter of the late Calvin H., Sr. and Helen (Graeff) Bair. She was a 1947 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. Arlene worked for Crown Knitting Mill, Mohrsville. She was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp., where she was a former choir member and member of the aid society. Arlene was a former Blue Bird Leader and member of Blue Mountain Chapter #443 Order of Eastern Star, Hamburg. She loved knitting and making clothing.
Arlene is survived by her children: Carlene A. (Weaver), wife of Eric L. Kissinger, Mohrsville; Roxanne D. (Weaver), wife of Allen F. Loeb, Leesport; Christopher L. Weaver, husband of Clementine, Eldersburg, Maryland; Kerry L. Weaver, husband of Donna, Mohnton; and Darryl L. Weaver, husband of Robin, Mount Union; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother: Calvin H. Bair, Jr., and his wife Anna, Leesport. Arlene was predeceased by a son: Dennis C. Weaver; two brothers: David and Karl Bair; and two sisters: Sara Schieferstein and Mabel Stamm.
Services for Arlene will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp.
