Obituary for Angela C. Onufer (Mattera)

Angela C. Onufer, 51, Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of John M. Onufer. They were married on October 18, 1997 and celebrated twenty-two years of marriage.
Born in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Vincent "Jimmy" and Patricia C. (Kowalski) Mattera. She was a graduate of Line Mountain High School. Angela and her husband John owned and operated Copycat Business Systems, Pottsville. She attended The Bridge Church, Hamburg. Angela loved fashion and was an amazing cook; cooking many things from scratch.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one daughter: Cera E. Klinger, Schuylkill Haven, and her fiance Josh Peters; four brothers: Michael Kozloski, Shoemakersville; Vincent "Jim" Mattera, Brigantine, New Jersey; Joseph Mattera, and his wife Debra, Hilliard, Ohio; and Anthony Mattera, and his wife Rachel, Sunbury; one sister: Teresa "Cook" Leader, wife of George Leader, Halifax; and sister-in-law: Beth Kozloski.
A Celebration of Angela's life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Jewel Women's Center (formerly Carenet of Schuylkill County), 103 East Main Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Continued prayers for your family to our one true God who sees you, hears you, loves you, cares for you. What a truly beautiful person Angie was, in all ways. The world is less joyful today but Heaven is certainly having a party welcoming her home.
